Pilot Placement Companies???

Anybody have any experience with pilot placement companies? Which ones are good? How the process works? I have seen most of these companies post for international jobs which im interested in but I havent spoken to anyone who has used one. Any information would be appreciated.

I tried one of those placement companies and I was offered a job in China to fly an A300 for a Turkish company. They provided living expenses and all sorts of stuff, but I just can't see myself dragging my wife and son to China for a short 1-2 year contract. The placement company I went through was a Brtitished based company and the guy on the phone was very pushy about me taking the job. I guess they get a huge commision off you. In a nut shell they work especially if you have time in type. That was my experience.
