Pilot looking to fly cargo

I am a California based Citation II SIC contract pilot. I have 650 hours of flight time with 190 of those hours in Jet aircraft. Does anybody have any leads on possible positions open anywhere in the country for a low time pilot. I am looking to fly any aircraft from C-172's to Citation Jets. I appreciate your help and suggestions.

Man, you are not gonna get any help or sympathy from anyone on this board in times like this. However, I will give you some advice: go get an instructing job or tow banners or traffic watch - ANYTHING to build up some PIC time so you can at LEAST get Part 135 mins. With 650 hrs total time, jerking gear in a "Slow"tation will get you absolutely nowhere. Sorry if I sound like a jacka$$, but somebody has got to tell you.

If you want to fly cargo, outfits like Airnet will want to see some instructing experience. Do it! Then spend a year flying checks in a baron or navajo, if you can find it. I got lucky, I'm flying celebrities instead of boxes. Even so, I'm still sending out updated resumes for cargo. Always have a "plan B".

When you pass 1200 hours with some turbine experience in your past, you'll be ready for the next step. I'm sure the 190 hours in the jet was a blast, but with your low total time, it won't do you much good, for now.

Thanks Guys. You're right, and that is why im working on my CFI. and as far as jerking the gear, I only did that 30% of the time cause I was usually in the left seat, but thanks for all the suggestions, thats all im looking for , not sympathy. Sympathy gets me nowhere.
