Hello,

I'm a pilot wanabee in Europe and I have a question about the pilot insurance available in the US.

Do you have any pilot insurance in case of loosing your medical certificate?
You're taking your classes but you can't get the renewal of a 1st class due to a physical problem (we don't know what can happens in Life..). So you must leave the course...

Here in europe, we have some pilot insurance plans in order to prevent these bad days. As flying represents for many of us a huge financial investment, it would be nice to have a financial solution in case of troubles.. That's what you pay for ;-)

Just wanted to know ;-)

Tony

I have AOPA Commercial Pilot insurance. They have insurance to protect you against legal actions, medical loss, etc. You can get the level of coverage to match the level of license that you are flying under.

IE; I have an ATP but I fly under my commercial ticket so I got the commercial-level plan.
