If the arbitrator decides to do that, he would be essentially changing their contract, and that would and should be grounds for a strike.

How can he decide that a pilot that was working for AA, flying AA (NOT EAGLE) metal deserves to be recalled after an Eagle pilot. Makes no sense at all.

Your question above should be forwarded to the previous APA chairman who was at the helm at that time. He agreed that Eagle pilots SHOULD be recalled in seniority order.

Perhaps he got into your hash stash ?

Mark my words......

Not a single Eagle pilot will see class at AA until all of the furloughed pilots are recalled.

Would you like to make a bet?

I suggest that you educate yourself a little before you make statements on a subject that you obviously have not even looked into.

The arbitrator has already made a partial opinion and award on this issue. He has already ordered that the ex-TWA LLC pilots who were furloughed directly from TWA LLC were never AA trained. As such when they are recalled, they are filling "new hire positions" as defined in Supp W / Letter 3. There is no argument between the 4 parties about what happens when there is a "new hire position" as defined in Supp W / Letter 3. The flow throughs with numbers will be recalled with the new hire positions and AA seniority numbers will be given to Eagle CJ Captains who are finished with IOE. This is not opinion, this is fact.

The MD80 dude isn't even offering opinion.

He's offering EMOTION.

My guess is if Eagle pilots should happen to be recalled in seniority order, he'll either draw up a "hit list" on them or run screaming into the night, never to be seen again...................

No emotion here my friend. I could care less what happens. I have a job that I'm very happy with. How about you?

No complaints.

My guess is if you were REALLY that happy, you'd have changed your handle to E190DRVR.

We're not wistfully clinging to the past are we ?

Actually, I'm cheap. I think to change your handle you have to pay. I'm not willing to do that. I changed my Avatar, isn't that enough?

I must have gotten under your skin. Your EMOTION is starting to show.:bawling:

Are you worried that I might be right?

Nope. No worries here, mate.

If you only made anywhere near my pay flying those extra 50-seats, I'd think you'd be less uptight to get back to AA.

The question is, is are you going to accept recall ?

Wouldn't be a real bummer if one day you're slinging my gear never having a clue it's Eaglefly ?

Your starting to sound silly now.....

You and I make about the same $$ every year (Granted you fly a 50 seat jet). Even if you're maxed out at 18 year pay and averaging 87 hours a month like I do, you're making about 98K year. Your per diem is only $1.65

At 4th year pay and averaging 87 hours month (My avg. to date) I'll make 98K and our per diem is $2 hour.

Now the big question is can you take the huge pay cut to flow up to AA. $35 an hour is going to hurt...:bawling:

I always love when JetBlue guys state their pay including their 50% above 70 whatever it is. How about state you guarantee to compare apples to apples. Otherwise everybody else should include their profit sharing, a funds, b funds, etc....

Yes you may average that so far, but much could change. Plus the eagle guy could state his guarantee plus 133% ot pay.

This just in......

Supplement W Negotiations Failure

In a preview of how we can expect AMR management to engage in the resumption of our Section 6 negotiations, last Friday AA management, along with Eagle management, outright rejected the joint APA/ALPA proposed settlement of all Supplement W grievances. APA and the Eagle ALPA negotiators worked collaboratively to reach a comprehensive settlement framework, yet without articulating a reason, both management teams felt that they could not accept the proposed agreement.
Preparations are underway for the grievance arbitrations to resume next month. We are extremely disappointed that management failed to recognize the value to both AA and Eagle in our joint proposal, but we are fully prepared to resolve this through arbitration. Protection of the AA seniority list is a paramount goal for APA, and we will continue to do everything possible to preserve its integrity. We will keep you informed of any additional developments as they occur.

So, Eaglefly, it looks like it's going to be awhile before you're going to be swinging gear for a former TWA guy. But it will give you more practice with the tiller.

Any FO at Eagle has been swinging gear for Ex-TWA guys for a few years now.

I'd suggest we all stay mum for one more month when the rumors come to an end and reality emerges.

Sorry, but you lose...........made 125K last year.

Have another business that makes almost as much as you Jet Blow paycheck, so I'll do fine. Especially if Neeleman continues to sell Airbuses and burning the furniture to heat the house.

You've got to stop crying. All those tears are clouding your vision and that puddle your standing in is what is looking silly.

Stay away from electrical outlets until you dry off.
