In March there will be about 5900 SWA flight bags up on EBAY and Craigs list. If you have a buddy at WN just ask him or her if you can have theirs. We are switching to ship sets & FOM's. No more flight bags for us:beer:.....hopefully.

Same here at the tranny. January 8th is the date......................so they say.:D
 
We switched this past summer. It's great not having to haul that flightbag all over God's green acre anymore. Considering the cost of Jepp charts and the number of pilots at a typical airline , I'm surprised this wasn't implemented years ago ....

Scott's is just a short drive from my house. Last year I purchased a "scratch and dent bag" from them which had a little scratch on the side.

It was barely noticeable in the shop, and after it's first trip, you wouldn't even notice at all. I think it was $30 - $50 off normal price. Not huge, but for one little nick, well worth it.

At the time they had 3 or 4 and in different styles. HTH.
