Just thought I would ask why in the hell do you high paid drivers get the attitude and whole world revolves around you.!!! I talk to many down to earth pilots and they are a pleasure but oh my god just try and talk to some of you upgraded types and you think you are the best thing since apple Pie
I’ve been around pilots for 30 years now and to be honest unless your getting Missile shot at your ass settle down, We in maintenance aren’t some dum S%&T sent out to put up with your BS!!! Get over yourself and fly your bus :smash:

And besides, if its so cushy over in Flt Ops, put your app in. Its only an extra week more than FA class anyway.
 
atleast i didnt spend over 100,000 to make 22k whos the fool !! OMG Fa's we mechs have more class to waste time hanging out with you !! I would rather hang myself then to sit around a bar and listen to you lie about you miserable life as so many of you post here!! lousey schedules and lots of hotel the truth is i make more then you and get to go home everynight and have my own damm beer!! i guess smelling like i need a shower and a shave and clothes cleaned is something you enjoy!! Fly on big boy!!

Trust me. It goes both ways. We've all delt with many cocky mechanics (and many helpful and down to earth ones) on our way up to where we are.
 
Somehow i just knew this post would change things from the same ole crap whine and complain about your lousy contracts and pay cuts !!! and someone else stealing your flying Press on!!! what a way to spend a nice night here in the office waiting for you to fly in and whine your seat doesnt adjust fore and aft properly! oh ill hurry and remove your lunch from under the seat rails (peanuts and pretzels)

I've always respected and appreciated mechanics and felt both of our professions were something to be proud of. It takes a lot of work to become either and both groups seem to share a passion for our fields and a level of dedication you don't see too much in a lot of vocations, especially these days. Its too bad you swallowed the hook of whatever class warfare bait that was dangled in front of you. Its a very good thing that most mechanics don't share your mindset.

That is, if you really are a mechanic and not some cynnical, bitter, overpaid, underworked pilot getting his jollies on FI by posting flame. :rolleyes:
 
God i love this place I am a mech and to be honest having fun here on friday night waiting on delayed flights !! its tough sitting here watching TV and flaming here at FI!!

My, my, my...Does someone need their midol? Hey guess what...turning renches on a saab isn't exactly the zenith in aviation maintenence.

I've done both, and both are important, so RELAX a little!!!
 
ive graduated to 145s & 170's no more saabs for me They have moved on to the Colgans By the way whatever happened to "doing the colgan" i really enjoyed that post. i dont need midol i prefer a good budwieser myself
BTW boomer nice avitar very creative atleast there wont be any heating problems at 410

If your logbook entries are anything like your Flightinfo posts, I can see why pilots might be irritated with you. Start sentences with a capital letter and end them with a period. Commas and question marks will come next lesson.
 
Hey ACpilot since when did it become your plane as i recall like me i get to touch it and you get to drive but we sure as hell arent making the damm payments on it!! Your no better then the guy that does the greyhound bus thing!! Go back to work.

it isn't your a$$ up at fl350. there isn't much forgiveness up there. I am so sick of the attitude that I get from SOME mechanics
 
I've noticed that the attitudes of mechanics/shops is directly proportional to the quality of same.

Crappy attitude (including anti-pilot and "superior" attitude) = crappy maintenance.

Be very scared.

Hey Saab, good post. Most of the mechs I've been around with are way cooler than some pilots I hang around with. I don't have much of an ego myself and I know I'm not a gods gift to flying, but I can hold my own. I certainly don't have to prove anything to anybody, unless to a chic........

You seem to have quite a chip on your shoulder for a guy who fixes buses all day. Perhaps the reason you feel you're being condescended to is that when you converse with the pilot group you speak in the same way you type. Remember, "your no better then" those pilots.
