Just buy a pair of Dear Stagg shoes. No metal in them so you don't have to take them off at security.

WHO gives a flying F**ck about the shoes? Who's the chick in CoATP's Avtar?

P.S. Those shoes are definately GAY

I do believe that she is without apparel!

Grow a set and buy the Justin Ropers

You can wear your white tube socks either striped or sans stripes what could be better than that. Trashy chicks also dig it when you wear the boots and only the hat when they show up at your hotel room.

Got em. No more stupid black socks. Comfy too, after break in. The old hags I teamed up with wanted me in the boots and Captain Caveman boxers. She wore the hat.

That's not even the gayest thing that AvShop has in this current catalog. Take a look at this beauty: http://www.avshop.com/prodinfo.asp?number=6727

I shudder to think that I've been flying around so woefully underequipped for so long. I'm ordering one of these today so that I can fill it with 8 pens, 4 flashlights, sporty's electronic e6b, sporty's holding entry computer, sporty's traffic pattern entry computer, and 5 pair of ray bans. I'm also going to use carabiners to attach a handheld GPS to the D-link on one shoulder and a handheld transciever on the other. I'm just thankful that I was lucky enough to survive this long without this necessary equipment.

For the FFDO's, it's even got a place to put your gun.

My favorite is still the ol' Sporty's "Panic Button." Yes that is a real confidence-booster for your passengers. Just think when you go through security and the panic button falls out of your "payload vest" pockets as you're putting it in the conveyer-bins at security . . . . "ummm, excuse me, is this yours?" . . . "Oh yes, thank you, I was starting to panic!" . . . .

. . . payload vest. Who are they kidding. Seriously, you would have to re-calculate the crew weights. The table would have to have a new column, "pilot without payload vest," and "pilot with payload vest." Gosh, TSA would probably think you were a suicide bomber.

They are meant for racing/sport automobile drivers and that is what the quote you post is referring to.

Wanna get a pot going on how long before some douche actually wears these to work along with his backpack and gelled spiky hair with the tips died blond?

I have seen a couple students wearing these at the FBO. Never knew that they were "special" pilot boots until I read this thread.

One them also had the super big flight bag with every gizmo that Sporty sells.
