In a word; no. Hey AJ, how are the landings coming?

Thank you for asking!
I actually greased two yesterday! (out of four) and am becoming quite a bit more confident, noticed that helps A LOT!

I think I was a better driver when I actually thought it was fun to drive. I don't really think flying has anything to do with it but driving is just so boring. I can't wait until we have auto drive and I can just go to sleep and set an alarm to wake me up when the car gets me there.

I became a better driver once I decided to pursue aviation as a career. I was lucky enough to straighten up before I got any tickets on my record.

One of my college professors preached about how our driving record was a reflection of our flying ability whether it was true or not. Every interview I have been on I was asked about my driving record and it felt good to say "its clean".

Aucfi has been telling me to slow down for a long time. I finally have slowed it down a bit. Though, I still tend to get tickets when I'm not intending to speed. Its always the one second I grab something out of the backseat or daydream. I'll look down and be like, man I should slow down, then look up and my luck theres a cop trapping. I'm up to like 3 tickets on record. I really hope I've seen the last of them.

I have only been driving for 4 years but haven't gotten a ticket yet or in an accident (knock on wood).

Flying can improve aspects, but overall? No, probably not. Take multi-tasking for example. If you choose to change the station on your radio while driving, you might be able to split between the two tasks, but you also have to speed up your reaction time because your attention span percentage is reduced from driving. Flying doesn't improve your reaction time enough to make you a safe, multitasking driver. It's mainly a question of when it's safe to multitask and when it's not. I've seen my fair share of horrible drivers and believe that genetics and how you were raised determines your driving record.

"A pilot's driving skills are inversely proportional to his/her flying skills."
A quote from my wife. As I started flying my driving got worse and worse. I think it is all the daydreaming and looking up at airplanes.

Yes, this describes me as well. I like to line up on the centerline as I drive down the road. Of course, I'll get over as traffic requires, but on an open road, I straddle the line. Also, is it just me, or do you look at everything as a possible landing strip?

im a good driver.

go nuts when jackasses go slow in the left lane.
i mean nuts.

like cut in front of them and slow to 20

fookers!!

I guess they just don't show when the guys nail someone or something else. That white car does hit the small pickup truck however and you can see the damage on the front end on I think the first video. Was that video recorded from a cell phone or something, really lousy quality. Japanese and American drifting is much cooler.
