Single engine turbo-prop. Could theoretically fly it with a private pilot non instrument rated. Although your insurance company might think differently. Turbo jet, over 12,500 lbs , or if the FAA specifically requires it, a type rating would be needed (not in this case). From what I understand, the PC-12 is a very safe aircraft. If I could somehow muster the $1.5+ Million to purchase, I would. Show them bitches who's King....:pimp:
