Most of our graduates are better prepared to fly a jet than most of the guys out there already doing it. I was an intern. for a major airline, and I got to spend a lot of the time in the sim, but 9 times out of 10, I could out fly the captains. Most of the pilots I dealt with were awesome guys, but in terms of the flying and procedures, they weren't as good as me. At Riddle, we really focus on flows and s.o.p.'s, so we are ready when we hop into an rj. Maybe not the best choice, but I got typed in the 73, and that was not that bad. If I can fly a 73' at 400 hours, I don't see why someone can't fly a dash-8 at 600 hours.
