Piedmont Air Cargo

Back in the early 90's there was a company called Piedmont Air Cargo based at Gastonia, NC. I used to go out there and check out their airplanes when I was in high school. I remember the guy who ran it was named Tim, but I don't know his last name. He was cool about letting me get in and look at the Beech 18's though. Just wondering if anyone out there knows what became of the company and Tim. Thanks

They were based in Statesville, NC for awhile. They sold the Beach 18's and the DC 3's. They had 2 DC 6's at one point, but sold one. I think Tim took the last DC 6 down to somewhere in Texas. I don't think Peidmont Air Cargo still exists. You might call the FBO in Statesville and ask them how to get in touch with Tim. Ask for Phil Hazel.
