PIC Time for Everybody at Skywest?

I got a buddy who was trying to tell me that Skywest makes everybody a captain, and that you split the PIC time on every flight. He said he heard this at a recent meeting in San Diego. I think he was mis-informed... Can any Skywest guys out there give me the real deal?

He probably drank that bull$%#^ kool aid mgmt and even some CAs will feed you saying you are a captain you just don't have the 4th bar yet. I try to be a good FO and learn what I can so that upgrade will be painless but the other day when a captain told me in a 5 minute speech how I am really a captian I had to die laughing. Sorry for this post in advance. I am very tired and it is very late. And remember you can log whatever you want and get caught then get your job back at 9e. Never mind, different story
