3400 feet! I think I have stopped the CASA in about 600 feet....:cool:

Really? How do ya do that?! Do you shout "9-9-9!" or "crazy crazy crazy!" to get it to stop?

You'd be surprised what you can do when your life depends on it. :laugh:

Its a STOL aircraft. The AFM has zero wind minimum t/o distance of 400 meters and landing distance at 300 meters. Touchdown at 75 kias with a 30 kt headwind ... Yes I estimate it was about 600 feet. Maybe it was 700 LOL. But I think it could be cut down with a little 9-9-9.

I was just surprised the Piaggo had that long a landing distance. Thats longer than the Falcon.

Your right rettofly, I meant that I would never touch the brakes until 80 knots on rollout and then get off them at 40 knots. You can easily blow the tires or cause a big flat spot if the brakes were applied too soon after touchdown.
