Who else had fun in PHL yesterday morning? Severe Turb and windshear reports galore! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

I was out there... Flew LGA-PHL about that time. Good times. We got a severe turb PIREP from a citation at 8000 and delayed the takeoff until the front passed by. It didn't take long, that thing was moving at 50 knots. Made lots of money with the delays, though.

so your ground speed was around 90kts - nice. You should have droped some flaps and hovered over SBJ.
