I'm not a commuter, but live in Philly. That said, I've heard quite a few talk about The Lagoon. Not been there, but I think the website makes it look a lot better than it is!

lagoons a dump but nice people. Days Inn is not bad. Wireless internet, Mic and fridge, plus a iron and a hair dryer which the lagoon does not have. Its also cheaper.

The Lagoon is, in fact, a dump. That's why it is such a great place.

It's like the beater crew cars at the little airports. You know the ones: surplus police cars with primer on the doors covering the police insignia, leaky windshield, bad muffler, etc. Something any pilot would be proud to brag about using.

The Lagoon caters to crews. The rooms are old, but (mostly) clean. The people are great. Vanloads of crews back and forth to the airport. Cheap, convenient and with it's own brand of dumpy class.

Try to get a room far away from the bar if you want to sleep. Or go to the bar. It is a classy dump as well.
