I'm going through an aircraft sale / upgrade right now; we have a CE560 and the expected choice was the XLS. There's a chance of a trade in on a LR45XR which also seems like a decent upgrade but the owner got some numbers on the Phenom that they liked - I think it's not enough of a jump to justify but was hoping to hear from someone with more knowledge. We need seating capacity and baggage capacity; range and speed aren't primary considerations.

The p300, 45xr and XLS are 3 different planes. The 45 and XLS have much bigger cabins, for one and both have apu's. the 45 has a flat floor, which is nice, and the XLS a much wider and taller cabin.

Both have good baggage capacities though I think the XLS has a bit more than the 45XR, and I think both seat 8/9 passengers.

If you're filling the seats with regularity, the passengers might like the XLS' larger cross section.

The Phenom 300 is a nice plane, but I have personally found their interior quality/finishing to significantly lag Cessna.

As one who has spent much time in the back of all 3, if performance and price are not issues, the XLS is the nicest for the pax - hands down.
