I know it's only been just under a month, but does anyone out there know when the next Pilot Hiring Board at jetBlue is going to be held? I've heard they're looking to place for Jan-Mar classes, does that still sound about right? Good luck to the rest in Phase 2 hell, hope you all hear soon as well........

I believe mid December was what I heard about two weeks ago. Classes don't start till Jan and Feb so relax and enjoy the holidays. Don't worry, unless there are some ghosts in your closet you'll do fine.

See ya on line,

Rick,

For what it's worth, I know of at least one person from the Sept. 10th group who has not heard yet. That is about 8 weeks wait so far. Sometimes creating a good class list is like making wine....just takes time. The pilot hiring committee does take a very good, hard look at everyone and that can take some time. Assuming you do make the cut, this 6-8-10 week wait will become just a memory before you know it.

Agony?

Try 2 years in a hiring pool if you want some agony. Not to mention all the poor souls who are furloughed and awaiting recall notices. Waiting a few weeks to hear about a hiring decision is more like the norm in this industry. Good luck.
