Hey All. Just wanted to see what everyone else gets as far as a per diem on the road? At my company we get $1.50 per hour to eat on when we are on the road and I'm thinking about asking for a higher amount from my boss but I wanted to see what everyone else gets. Any info I can get from others out there will be appreciated.

This was about a year and a half ago:

breakfast $8
lunch $12
dinner $16
all depending on what time frame you're gone (i.e. 10 am departure means no breakfast money)
and higher rates for specific expensive towns on a company list (New York, Boston, etc.)

And, overnight lodgings were on the company card, not part of the per diem.

Per Diem

At my gig we get 3.75 an hour up to 14 hours a day. You also get the time when your sitting in your hotel room on the road. I guess it sounds like I have it lucky:D I guess some regionals get 1.15 and only go on block time. Curious to see what everyone else has to say

Runnin' cargo...........a flat rate of $150 a week.

our company pasy 1.50 per hour away from home base. Its 36 a day. We never spend all of it, so its probibly an extra 400-500 a month on payday

per diem

mmmm.... i guess i shd be lucky to get $2/ hr. from duty time starts til i get back to base.. we just started, so we'll see how this all works out...

Where I work we get $15 a day. Period. It's tough when they send me out for two weeks. I always try to tak them into getting me a room with a kitchenette. That helps.

Let's see if anyone gets lower than I do.

At the old charter company I worked for we got $50 per day for food and if we overnighted $175 for hotel/car, etc in addition to the $50 for food.

Sounds much better than it really was, sure you made a ton overnighting in Hebbronville, but all it takes is one Aspen overnight to be wiped out!
