The GeezerMeter has ran its course. I cannot believe that I can do any better than facilitate the most badass countdown in aviation history. Retirements are happening every day. We are all moving up hopefully to a better line, one more weekend off a month, or getting more days off.
This industry is crazy. May Swa and AT become one, may USair East and West merge with AMR without much strife. I hope all airlines prosper in 2013 and beyond. Even Delta

I waited 1261 days for retirements. They are happening.
Time fore Whataburger to retire. What an awesome countdown. Good luck to all of us. Most of our destinies are decided by guys in nice suits in nice offices who could care less about collateral damage. The difficult decisions are made my corporate folks. We just do what they say.
We all got into this in the same way - we want to fly airplanes and get a check big enough to support our families.
2013 will be a crazy year. Good luck to all of us line dogs.
