does the 49% take into consideration that about 140 pilots are on probation and cannot vote?

I assumed it meant the eligible pilot group and not the probies because they said on the code a phone that they were disappaointed with the low voter turnout. (They can't be that dumb can they?)

On one hand, I am disappointed in my fellow pilots as far as the crummy turn out goes...

That being said, when you have no roadshows and secretive MEC meetings with no information (except rumor) about what occurred in them what do you expect? Heck, some pilots are probably not aware a vote even took place.

Well... Ok PDT management, its all up to you. I think I smell a whipsaw coming. We already know that Colgan will whore themselves out for anyone.

Oh yeah... A shout out to DM and the rest of the negotiating committee. Thank you for your service and hard work under impossible circumstances.

Any idea how that YES vote broke down between CAs and FOs?

I can't imagine many would have voted yes for those piss-poor (beyond first year) 70+ seat FO rates...

Those who refuse to particapte in politics shall be ruled by thier inferiors....

How many pilots voted for the MEC officers in the first place...??

no comment. but yeah, it is pretty awful that only that many voted. most of the guys i talked to either didn't know or got nothing in the mail.

the latest rumor i heard last night came from a supervisor in philly. they said pdt is trying to buy 50 parking spaces and they are clearing out rooms (where i'm not sure). q400 was also mentioned in a meeting of the minds last friday.

Those are better than RJ rates.

Not the FO rates beyond the probationary year; in fact after year 1 they're lower than a few 50 seat RJ operators (SKW, AWAC, ASA, XJT).

The captain rates are equal or better than most 70 seat RJ operators, but not getting 60% of CA rates for FOs is sh!tty...
