PDT mispaying employees?

Just heard that PDT is paying 1st year FOs $24.11 while the contract stipulates something like $25.86...

Apparently calling flight pay can get this adjusted... Anyone else heard this rumor? My contract is in my flight bag but will be getting a look at tomorrow (it's a safety of flight issue for sure!)

Back to the question. Can you even read, Jr? That pay rate (25.58) goes into effect on the 16th of this month. That's in the future, as in the temporal space of events that have yet to happen. So, you can't get paid that NOW, when it applies LATER.

After all of that, he just said, "I'm going to XXX in a few months when my multi time gets to XXX." I wanted to faint, wake up, faint again, wake up again, and kick him in his undescended gonads.

Hey now, I mentioned that I didn't have my contract in my physical possession at the moment, it stays in my chart bag for obvious reasons.

Besides, today is my last day anyway, I just wanted to make sure I took care of it before I left. I am a proud member of the <1 year crew.

It was a blast flying for PDT, but this lack of future stuff (and living in a wretched base) stuff got my anxious to get out. I don't like the fact that pilot contracts + airplane leases expire at the same time. Maybe its a common thing, but just seemed too convenient.

I really don't know. They take exactly what you owe on the pajamas, but vacation is tricky. If you took a full 5 day slot this year, you're so incredibly hosed to the tune of almost 1/2 of that vacation's value. Sick bank is another issue; that might help.

It's extremely convenient. It will be one heck of a fight... who knows what will happen.

Why would they do that? I'm not saying your wrong but I just don't know why. The only time anything gets write up for me latley is on the last leg going home! Boo, it sucks
