Anyone heard anything about the Piedmont interview on March 8th? Did anyone go? New gouge?

When I interviewed in Sept. most of the pilots had around 600-800 total time. In the new-hire class the times are a little higher, but there are still several people with 600+ hours doing just fine. If you have over 800 and 100 multi. you should be good to go.

I had just over 480 total and just under 80 Multi when I got accepted last August.

Sadly I decided to turn down the class date for March, but they seem like a great group of people. My only regret is not being able to work with the type of people I met during the interview. I wish everyone at Piedmont the best of luck.

Is PDT still interviewing?? It doesn't seem like we're that short on FOs... I could be wrong though.

Yes you are short on FO's and... ...you're getting jets.

So hire me!

We have always had Jets! You just have big old spinning things attached to the front of them.

PDT really hires with such low times like 500+?

Are most of these pilots coming from an aviation university?

off the street, I think they want more tiem for FO's.

500 isn't that low anymore. I have two friends who just got hired at Air Wisc with under 450 and under 340. My friend with under 450 only had a little over 30 hours multi. Neither had a CRJ type but they are both great pilots and people. My point is that you should always apply for a job you want, regardless of the minimums.

I should also mention that my friends with higher flight times (i.e over 4000 hours) did not get hired at Air Wisc for one reason or another.

Posted mins are 1500/250. Not sure about any hiring agreements, but I know they're real big on hiring Purdue guys.

The ONLY people I know of hired at AWAC with that low time had an RJ type from RAA. Other than that, the lowest I've heard is 700ish with well over 100 multi. When were your friends hired?

Real jets are for kids and much easier to fly than the beloved Dash.

Strongly concur (check my profile). I had way more "arrivals" than landings in the Dash. But like I say, props are for boats, jets are for hot tubs!

Semantics. I love the T-props, but I think everyone knows what I mean when I say "jets".

Getting back to the original question, has anyone on here interviewed with this company recently?
