Hey Guys and Gals

Just a quick question.. We are going through an evaluation for new a new cell phone for the dept. I was wondering if you could share your suggestions

We would like the ability to
1: Use Ultra Nav for a LR-35
2: Download NEXRAD or similar imagery
3: Access our company email
4: Use as a Cell phone

I'm thinking along the lines of a new gen Backberry (8700) or similar. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Or perhaps what they use now...

Thanks for the help

Cell Phones

Look at the Hp 6510 or 6515 from Cingular i think it might fit the bill for those options your looking for. Hp is coming out with a new model 6940 sometime this summer with WIFI built in.

Something to keep in mind is that you may need a Windows-based OS. Recently contacted UltraNav regarding usage on z PDA and the answer was that they use Windows OS only and no plans for PalmOS versions. Possibility that it will work with a Windows-based OS such as the Palm Treo 700w or WindowsCE.

I have a PPC-6700 from Sprint and love it. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's not a GSM phone. But since we keep a GSM phone on each airplane, it's not a big deal for me. Thing is like a Windows based PDA, Phone, Laptop all in one.
