PBS tricks, does this abrogate seniority?

Here's a hypothetical situation. A senior crew member intentionally bids for trips that he/she never plans on flying. When awarded the said trips the senior crew member then gives them to a much more junior crew member. The net effect is that the junior crew member has a better schedule than many people senior to him/her. Is this an abrogation of seniority? Or is it the right of the senior crew member to spend his/her seniority however they see fit?

My company has a "line trade" policy so this cannot happen. If a senior guy wants to trade a whole line with a junior guy, he has to ask everyone in between if they want the line instead.

OK, well, let's say that a senior guy brought a ham sandwich with him, while the junior guy brought tuna. It just so happens that the senior guy is the one who likes tuna and the junior guy prefers ham. My question is, who likes braunschweiger?
