I know this is going to generate some flame but here goes. ACA has raised the bar for the ACA pilots. They have increased the size of the pay that ACA pilots can earn. They have also probably increased the days off for themselves. A320s have higher flight time to duty time ratios(longer flights). They may start a new pattern for Chataqua, Skywest, etc. Now General, don't get the potato twisted in your shorts, 'cause I'm not saying the Comair/ASA pilots can do the same, but the other independent regionals sure can follow suit. Since regionals have been treated as a seperate industry, could not the argument be made that ACA is raising the bar for all regional pilots of independant airlines. I am fully aware that up until now ACA has made all of its' money on the coat tails of UAL, but we all lived with our parents until we were ready to go out into the world and make our own way. Maybe that time has come for ACA as well. Flame away kiddies!
