In the process of replacing a passport and wondering if it is absolutely necessary to have it in your possession before applying/interviewing at a regional. I know right now it's taking at least 3 months to even get your paperwork processed. Anyone know if a proof of application or a reciept is acceptable?

You can do it same day if you have the time. See the "same day passport" thread under regionals.

I just recently renewed mine. Company picked up the cost. If you expedite it, $60 more dollars I think, you'll get it back in a timely fashion. I got my new one in the mail in 9 days.
