1. You can do same day service (at the Customs House), 4th and Chestnut I think?
That's the only way to keep your current passport on your person while the new is processed.
2. If you send it in, you MUST send your current passport with the app. You will get it back about 1 week after you new one arrives (in case youre nostalgic about your stamps).
*get your pic taken at Walgreens or CVS. Don't fall for those "trucks" out front of the Customs House... rip off.
