Finally got that out of the way, now its time to order some books for the cfi... It actually was a fun checkride. I flew a c-150 and a Piper Apache for the complex portion. Lots of fun!!

Now Run as far away from the airport as you can get!!!

Not joking, just wished I had followed those simple instructions from a couple of Corp pilots when I was pumping gas at the airport when I was 16.

Im not bitter, Im just a realist.

Its all perspective. What you make of your career and life is up to you. We all sacrifice a lot to do what we do but in my opinion its worth every penny and night spent away from home. I always enjoy waking up in the morning and going to "work." Just keep a positive attitude and you will do just fine.

Congrats and enjoy the CFI training!

Well, here's a better solution. Why don't you get out of aviation and let the new guy who actually wants to do this get started. If he doesn't have a piss poor attitude like some people, and doesn't give up at the first sign of trouble, then he will do just fine in this career.
