Today I passed the 200 hr mark.. I now am at 200.7! only 49.3 to go.. lol

Hopefully I will have my commercial after this semester at school then multi in summer.. i am pumped!!

God i remember that. Carefully putting every hour in your logbook.

Then when you get the hours your bidding to try and avoid flying.

Keep the enthusiasm because there is a tough road ahead.

Most FAA inspectors will nor airline interviewers will complain if you add .1 for the taxi out and point 1 for the taxi in. Thats what we consider block time. Might be the difference between the fuel truck and the RJ.

Right on man, hoping to hit that this summer. How did you get the sims there? Looks like fun.

My dad and uncle fly for northwest! along with both of my grandpa's that use too

hey man congrats....in about 800 you'll realize that ATC is the way to go. Im kidding, but a friend of mine is behind me and he's past the 1000 hour mark and he goes to ATC school in a few months. Keep the sunny side up and fly safe. Flying is something not everyone does. Remember that but be mindful that you have a long way to go. Im past 3000 and I don't know S...!

Be nice to your controllers! We can't operate with out you guys.

Congrats on the 200, how much sim do you have? i think you can use up to 50 sim towards your commercial, and if you have the sim time take the comm check ride soon.
best of luck

I didnt log any of that sim time in my profile if that is what your asking.. But I am in crew resource managment and line orinented flight training using a beech 1900.. When that is complete I will get ~25 hours out of it.. and you are correct.. 50 can be applied for commercial.. I will have about 28 FTD time.

Congratulations, you are now one of us!

Who is "us?"

The few... the proud... the 200 hour wonders!

;)

Congrats man. Enjoy every second of that solo time, you will miss it.

Please tell me you threw a party..........100 hours, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000, 1500, 5000, and 10000 are all mandatory "let's get varnished" nights. Every Checkride in between qualifies also......kinda like getting service on your car......carry on

Good job, dude. Remember, a lot of accidents happen in that 200 to 1200 hour part of a pilot's career. You get really comfortable, but your "bag of tricks" formed from disasters narrowly averted, is a bit small.

Your kidding, right?

Anytime your log falls on an odd number, it's reason to throw a party! A successful landing = party. Wx day = party. What do you do when you no longer log? Guess at the total, and throw a party! Just kidding, of course.

In the Air Force, after the last launch of the day, the beer light came on. When the Navy bro's begin to brag on their "traps", I'll always fall back on "Yeah but did you get to debrief over pitchers of beer?"

Fly safe and congrats on a good milestone. You'll definitely remember your 1,000 hour mark.

Congratulations, QuazarZ. Keep your enthusiasm but also remember that you're not bulletproof. My guess is that your judgement is much better than mine was at that point, but I have to say that I know much less about flying now than I thought I did when I had 200 hours.
