can any of you ORD guys tell me what I need to bring to get a parking pass and an airport badge...what kind of paperwork?

Thanks

a Saudi passport, a copy of the Koran, and a $500 bribe for Daley's boys!

You can only get a SIDA badge if your airline sponsors you for one (ie, everyone at yur airline gets one that is based there). Not based there? You won't get one.

As for parking. Take the train.

Actually not true, if you are not based there, but you commute in and out of there it is very possible to get a badge.

Good luck with that. Most airports only issue SIDA badges to those who are based there and need to be in the "Secure Area". Commuting does fall under that.

AA AE and UAL have no problems with it, those are the only ones that I know of for sure. I have a few friends based around the country and commuting out of ORD for these companies, they all have the SIDA badges.

The airlines don't issue the SIDA. The airport authority issues the SIDA after the airline request it and can justify it.

Exactly, if you fly for Eagle and are based in BOS but live in Chicago they will have no problem getting you an ORD badge.

Sure, believe what you want.
Well when I got based in BOS my first month at Eagle I got a badge, parked in the AA lot, took the AA bus to the AA terminal, got on the AA plane went to work for AE in BOS, then reversed the order.

not that I need the info anymore but I love how the question was never answered

Yup people go out of their way to not answer you, give retarded comments, and flame you, fun isn't it? It is lame beyond belief.

You can get a pass at ORD for parking no problem.

ps: OKC? ;)

See that is what I was trying to say. Go to badging, bring the paperwork, park your heart out!!

SIDA is not the same as a Parking permit.
What are you arguing with me for. He asked if he could get a parking badge. I said yes, he can get one. Done talking with you tool box.

With the SIDA he can get into the AA/AE parking lot. That would be his parking pass....take the bus to the terminal and does the routine.....Simple. IF he doesnt get the SIDA then hes going to probably get a parking pass thats on the other side of the field over by RWY 4R 22L. I would bet on them giving you the SIDA though.
