Parking at JFK

I am leaving on a week long trip out of JFK and am wandering the cheepest place to park. Is there park n rides? The train? Please let me know, I can hardly afford the trip, much less parking. I am driving from Rhode Island. Thanks Jumppilot03

Take the Metro. Leave your car at home.
Besides, the Whitestone is a nightmare

I can probably help you if your car isnt Gigantic I am 2 DME from JFK I can let you park in my driveway and maybe shuttle you there. If I am unavailable its a $15.00 cab ride. OR
Plan B I pick you up by plane and drive you down from KPOU your Choice . I need some time in my log book and I have mucho free time .

There is room over at the Port Authority lot where GA goes into.. Talk to them... (hint hint) If that attempt fails then there are plenty of hotels in the area that probably will not object to you leaving your car there for a week or so at a set fee or possibly even for free. Shouldn't be a problem at all parking your car at or near JFK. The lots at the airport are fine as well-
