Parked Frontier airplanes in PHX

The schedule slashing begins this week. As for the aircraft sales, they refuse to tell us exactly when those occur.

Probably not as doom and gloom as many might think. PHX had TS event that caused damage to a bunch of airplanes. From what I gather, seems like pebbles blown into engines causing the need for boroscopes and the odd engine change.
 
Thank guys. Also, United, Aeromexico and Mesa aircraft were also damaged during the storm that hit phoenix area last week.

The two Frontier Airbuses in PHX have their tail art painted over. 901FR and 903FR. These two are awaiting pick up by their new owner/leasors.

Also, I saw 901FR land in PHX and then go to the pad where the crew deplaned on Aug. 26th.

Does anyone have any idea how many planes Frontier will operate after the pull down?
 
We are going to be down a total of 11 planes from our high. 4 were sold pre-chp 11 and an additional 7 are being sold as we speak. I believe the final number will be 47 or 49 airplanes...but I don't know the breakdown of 318 319 320's.
On another note, it looks like the final furlough numbers will be around 88...not the 155 originally set forth by the company. It's no consolation if you are in the 88, but overall it is better news.
 
Oh, I almost forgot...pay no attention to CitaionUltra, he is in fact an idiot and cannot be relied upon for good information regarding F9.

who's the moron, again, do you homework littleman. they got a cash infusion over a month ago of 75 mill. that will keep them around a while. Sorry to disappoint you because we all know by your previous posts that you want nothing more than f9 to fail. If youdont understand the post you have even bigger problems than I thought. My guess is you've got 'little mans' complex and I am not talking about your height old timer.

Exactly, thank you for the post. I think this is a dead point with this ultra tool though. We are probly better off just ignoring him. Good luck f9, the rest of us are pulling for you.

Are you able to refute or deny the validity of any of the statements or opinions?

You seem to be obsessing on whether not I "desire" the demise of Frontier. No I do not "desire" the demise of Frontier, but facts and history point to a bankrupt company ultimately having its assets liquidated, and it appears to be sliding inexorably toward that end.
 
Considering all of your statements are opinion, I can refute and deny them all by simply stating "I disagree".

As far as what direction F9 is "inexorably sliding", I will also disagree and suggest you study more recent events. In my opinion, we are improving our position and I am becoming cautiously optimistic about our future. The truth is neither one of our crystal balls are perfect and only time will tell...

If you think anyone is obsessing over your actions or statements, you may want to see someone about that before it's too late...
 
...hey toob, it's a waste of time arguing with someone who was turned down by F9 and now holds a grudge...


edit...as far as the original post... they were there for their transition to the Russians. Heard one of them flying the other day under the N number versus the call sign. As far as the final number goes, i thought we were not going to be getting rid of all 11, but selling and leasing back a few of them, resulting in a loss of only 7 or 8 a/c total.
