Paramedic Cert helpful for Air Ambulance flying position?

Well it really wont help in the job any, as for whether it would impress someone enough to give you a job, who knows.

In the SW, Air Ambulance tends to be single pilot, while up north, it tends to be two pilot. Some air ambulance outfits in sucky locations in the southwest sometimes are pretty low on staffing for the medical side because no one wants to live there, or else its just part timers who live somewhere better and work for a few days at a time.

Paramedics at some outfits make more then the pilots, and can be treated better since RNs and paramedics really are not a dime a dozen like pilots can be.

Some outfits do have pretty good schedules for the RNs and paramedics, so instructing in your days off is a definite possibility
