J. Pappagiorgio is gone! Replaced by Chip Durham of Express Jet.
Anybody know if this guy hates pilots as much as Pappagiorgio did? What is his track record Expressjet guys?

"Please join me in congratulating Chip, Scott, Steve and Greg on their roles, and also in thanking John
Popolizio and Jesse Childress for their hard work and dedication in their previous roles. We will continue to
provide you with the latest details as more adjustments are made to the leadership structure of our combined
Flight Operations division.

No one likes new yorkers any way. Good riddance to popo the hut and his fat wide yankee ass.

SH in charge of the jcba negotiations. Explains all the "soothing" lunch invites and "the world is exploding" emails. The more we lose, the more he gains. Don't forget that.

I always wished I could believe that British-looking chode... But it's off now. So are the gloves.

"Woooooooooo! You gotta date wednesday, baby!!!!!"

Well, based on his history he is from the old ASA, old Pinnacle, and whatever else. I have little hope in this one changing anything.

Ha! And topped with a Lebowski quote. Fantastic.

May even be worse.

Any XJet folks care to weigh in on who/how this guy is?

I just read the email on ourasa. Apparently he is our(XJT's) director of dispatch. IMO our dispatch department overall is very good. They do miss things here and there(my last trip was a DX cluster ********************; 2 missed REQUIRED alternates, 2 missed weight restrictions due to icing takeoff's out of DEN, 1 alt that didnt need to be there(coupled with missing the icing takeoff penalty) leading to an even larger weight restriction than was needed), but those were individual dispatcher issues.

I dont know how bad your dispatch guy was for you all to actually know who he is, but for nobody at XJT to know who this guy is means he hasnt royally ********************ed something up and generally does a good job. The guys that do a good job at XJT generally NEVER get recognized and are thus largely unknown.

We're being 'Chiped away' over here just fine, already!

ASA needs some changes, no argument there. With this new guy taking over the training dept., thats the one area I hope there are NO changes!! IMO we have a excellent training dept from the program manager to the instructors. I'll admit there are one or two instructors who might be classified as a--holes, but the majority are excellent IMO. ASA training has always had a excellent reputation in the airline industry, both regional and majors.

Very true, two Feds this last month have said the same.

Crew support, not dispatch!

Didnt see that, I just saw that he was our director of dispatch.

I stand by what I said. People at XJT who dont screw up and generally do a good job dont get any recognition and their name is not widely known. So this may be a good thing that this guy isnt widely known around XJT. And with him running our DX department things, at least on that side of the house, run fairly well.

It is very disappointing that the ASA folks did not see the true value of Jesse. He is the heart and soul of the training team, a true leader, and gentleman. He is respected by industry experts, governmental regulators and EVERY ASA pilot I have spoken to. Although never an ASA pilot, I have had the pleasure of working with Jesse in industry working groups and international training conferences. This is not a good decision.
