Paperwork in the Cockpit

Question for you current Regional Pilots:

What paperwork are you required to maintain in the cockpit for both FAA regs, and Company Policies? More simply put, what are some of your 'administrative' duties in addition to flying the bird?

Also, how do you log your "Out, On, Off, and In" times? Via radio calls, FMS, ARINC, or other?

I'm working on a research paper as part of a Masters degree.
