Just got back from a few days in Panama. Panamas big boom right now is attracting retirees from the states. Heck the way corporations are raiding employees retirements, people have to manage with a lot less money. And Panama wants to help with that. It is still a 3rd world country though, so I don't know much about their Health Care system/quality.
The real estate developers are trying to get " snowbirds" to buy Condo's there instead of S. Florida.
Stayed at the Panama Mariott. Nice hotel. I generally thought the food was fair, not great. I do recommend restaurant Beirut, across the street.
You have got to go to " La Palace". Absolutely the most beautiful young women we have ever seen at a " Night" club. A bit pricey though. But, it has to be seen.
Ave Uruguay has a quite a few " locals" clubs. Golf is Ok in Panama.
We were not terribly impressed with our Handler in Panama, everything seemed to need to be asked for twice. And Catering was a bit Sub Par.

Ave Uraguay is great, a bunch of bars all right next to each other. Pavo Real is right behind the Marriott but is much more westernised. La Palace and Elite II are awesome strip clubs, at Elite II I think it was an $18 cover (which is really expensive for down there) but it was ALL YOU CAN DRINK. You can get a taxi pretty much anywhere in the city for about $2. and there are plenty of casinos down there, the Marriott one sucks.


Surf, Santa Catalina is about 6 hours out side of the city, and Boca del Toro always has good waves but you'd want to hope on a light twin to get there.

Think I'm going up to KTEB to party in the meatpacking district if anyone is going to be up there. Later.

Girls..... I sealed the deal the last two nights with different girls, and didn´t even have to pay for it. I guess being a Gringo has its advantages, all though I did have to shell out a whoping $3 for her taxi ride home. Real estate is pretty good down here too, Í think they are going to have to find someone else to fly back, because I´m not leaving, anyone know how to fly a 60, lol.

hell I even know a friend of a friend who knows a friend who banged a UVAir Handler in Central America region....the deal was negotiated as the fuel truck left and above Handler was enroute to hotel room later that night

I always liked the UVAir folks.....I guess he really got "handled". Man, thats some outstanding service. I was at an aviation org. golf scramble a few weeks back and I got to hand it to UV, they know how to party! We stumbled up on like the 5 or 6th hole and they were sponsoring the hole. We were greeted with a shot of Tequila for each of us in a UVAir shot glass which you kept. Not sure what happened to my shot glass but I know some of the guys did more than one shot. I checked my watch and it was 10:30 in the morning when we downed the shots and teed off. UVAir. We take care of you in Central/South America. In more ways than one!

I Just came back from PC a few days ago, my god I've never been attacked by mosquitoes that bad. They were the size of bats and could bite threw your clothes! I think the RH was close to 100%. The mosquitoes were probably hatching out of the air. I just hope I don't get malaria, I would be lucky if all I got was West Nile. LOL
