Just curious. Saw a Jetstream at BWI lastnight with Pan Am on it. I am aware of the 727's with Pan Am flying ATL to Tunica, MS. What is the story with the Jetstreams and Pan Am?

Is that the 31 or 32? Either way I don't envy those boys/girls. Had my share of NTS'ing - no yaw damp. - no prop.sync - 3 hour repo flights at 3 am in those J-balls. MAN, those were the days!

Yeah, and what happened to the PanAm pilots who used to fly those 727s?

the old 727 pilots got furloughed(union busting mngmnt) and then asked if they wanted to come back and fly for the non-union BMA in the 727's that the company had just taken out from under them.
really bad mngmnt over there... scum bag union buster runs the place.
he has no idea how to run an airline(no experience... just trains) or treat people.
not that I want to see people out of work or anything but that is the type of operation that needs to shut down or be shut down before someone gets hurt.

NO....none of the union pilots were ever asked, offered a position with Boston & Maine. A couple of pilots (check airman type a$$kissers) who were not union members due to being kicked out for not paying dues, crossed the fence and helped them get started while still flying for the union side. The rest rode it to the end and did not cross or apply. Would you go to a union busting scab company and make 60% less with no contract or duty rules? They run you on supplemental FAR's , fly 'till you drop. The DOT still has not approved more than 3 727's for the scabs eventhough they have more on the sidelines waiting. Check out the panamservices website, everything is for sale. No game plan, no idea how to run an airline. stay away, far away from this place.
