Pacific GA?

Anyone here fly GA in the Pacific? I am flying from Oakland to China via Hilo, Majuro, Guam and maybe Manilla.

Any advice from some of you that have flown a similar route before? Weather sources (websites...), filing flight plans etc would be a big help. Most of my flying has been over the N Atlantic and Africa so far...
