I plan to take someone up who has a pacemaker, but I heard from another pilot that the transponder might interfere with the pacemaker. Also, I have to have the transponder on due to Class B.

I can't find any info on this, has anybody done this before?

see the doc first

He or she whoever has attached pacemaker should consult
with own physician first. Those pacemaker made in thesedays have no problems but it's depends on its age and brands.
infact, i have grandma who has pacemaker flown with me in a cherokee w/o problems. But she contaced her doc first though.

Probably just an urban legend. (At least as far as transponder interferance goes-- I would second the idea that the person consult their doctor for health reasons) FAR 91.21 permits pacemakers use aboard aircraft.
