Some questions for PA31-350 drivers.

Is anybody getting book (or close) fuel burn?

Are the overhead panel switches backlit?

Are the CB panels backlit?

Thanks. Feel free to PM

-fuelburn I got was about 21-22 gallons per side with egt @ about 1400-1450
-overhead switches are backlit
-cb panels are not if I remember correct.

anything else just let me know

1) At cruise power - 30" and 2200rpm - leaned 100 degrees rich of peak, fuel flow is about 17 - 18 gph per side.

2) Overhead yes

3) CB's No.

Thanks for the reply

Hal, Skyking1976, avbug, and 7b2 thanks for chimming in.

We're running the book values of 31" and 2200 RPM, leaned b/t 100 and 150 rich and burning 22-23 GPH (8-10K'). Even trying to pull back to 20 and the enignes want to shut down.

Almost everyone I talk to says the same thing you all have. We just can't seem to get the numbers there. Our fillups equal our calculated burn within a gallon of two so I can't see a problem with the Hoskins.

Feel free to thow out some more 'hoe wisdom.
