P66 POS System?

I just remembered something...that rather new POS (Point of Sale - Or whatever else you could call it) is really annoying. It takes soooo long to get the reciept printed.

Basicly, it works like this. They pump your gas, they get their computer to go online, they print off an invoice, then cut the invoice to normal size, then you sign it.

The problem always comes from getting online...some FBOs have some rather dodgy internet connections. I think the new system is horrible...just wondering if I am the only one that thinks this?

Its not the fact that it is a POS system- We use the Micros POS system where I work, and it is very fast and efficient.

Maybe your system works well...but it tends to be the airports that don't do much contract gas that have the issues.

And yeah, why cant we have the whole piece of paper...makes it easier for us to fax at the end of a trip!
