For a non-jet or Excel guy, can anyone explain why oxygen duration increases with altitude?

So it increases, decreases, then increases again with altitude. I can't explain it.

I think that Cessna assumes that the higher you go, the more likely that one of you will screw up putting the mask on and pass out - therefore, less need for O2.

Seriously, I have no idea. It's been a long time since I flew that airplane... Besides, it's an Excel - not a Gulfstream. The masks are there to get you down to a breathable altitude, not take you to Hawaii from your ETP...
