I have been keeping a AOPA card in my pocket for a long time, almost exclusively because I maintain prepaid legal insurance with them. However, I am getting really tired of getting a renewal mailing every month when I just renewed and a magazine that discussed the same topics over and over again. Are there any other options for prepaid legal in the aviation world that don't include AOPA?

No, they're really not, and your choices of attorneys is far more limited with the AOPA plan, as is the amount of counseling you can get, as well as what the plan covers.

Like Jungle Jet said, just give them a call. They will stop the mailings, and stop giving out your info to others if you are getting other junk mail as well. If you don't want the magazine anymore, they'll stop sending that.

I don't agree with all the positions AOPA takes, nor do I agree with everything they spend our money on, but if you are involved in GA in any way, including corporate or charter, they are the most efficient way for a pilot to have someone looking after his/her interests.
