trip report
After eating at Home Town Buffet, i drove to the airport to get on Communist Air 6969 Beech 1900 service from ALB to CLE. While checking in, the agent upgraded me to First Class, 1a. Got onboard and introduced myself to the captain, and was checking to make sure he chose the correct routing to CLE. Seeing that he filed over Huggenutts VOR, i knew he was going to shave off a few minutes and make it an early arrival into CLE. The First Officer told me that he would relinquish his duties of bringing up the gear, and allow me to do it. So while we're rolling down the runway, i moved the curtain aside and when the captain said "positive rate" i reached right over and brought up the gear. We leveled off at our cruising altitude of FL120, and thats when the feeling came over me.. Something was binding up inside... could it have been the grits, or maybe the biscuts n gravey... So i got up to walk to the lav in the back.. Well i'm in a 1900, and there is no Honey Pot. The turbulence was not helping out at all either, because it was making that turtle head poke out even more. So thinking like Mcguyver, i asked the pleab in 2a to hold up a blanket while i "read" the newspaper... Well since she saw me put the gear up, and correct the captains mistake, without question held up a blanket. Well i let it rip all over the complementary USA Today front page. It was everywhere, and even managed to get some on the overhead bin.

After dropping the Cleveland Browns off at the Superbowl, i now had to sit in coach. Kind of cramped, but we were almost home in CLE. Uneventful landing, and when i disimbarked, the ramper allowed me to go behind the wing and find my bag. He insisted that he go in the cabin and clean up the mess for the quick turn back to ALB. While getting my bag, i ran into the FO doing his post flight, and he shook my hand for the impressive mess, and smell that i have now added to N666CA. Nice group of people, and i'll be flying them next week, hopefully i'll get first class again.
