I've flown in numerous times. It's doable and not unsafe if you do a few things:
1. Read, understand, and follow the Notam instructions.
2. Be competent at air speed and aircraft control (i.e. match the "flow", and be able to land where they tell you.
3. Keep your head on a swivel and watch the traffic around you.
4. ...and the most important safety rule, where *these*, safety glasses (for you Norm Abram fans).
It's been a few years since I've been in there. They used to require a slot time for IFR flight plans. Are you planning on VFR or IFR arrival?
