I'm flying into Osh Kosh this summer during AirVenture. How would I go about getting a slot time, or reservation to get in? I've never flown in there before, just driven. Anyone have any good tips on the making the process easier? Thanks....

There should be instructions on the fly in's website. not sure what the link is. Also, "Oshkosh" is one word... :)

Thanks. I read the NOTAM this morning. That tells me what I need to get into OSHKOSH.

My apologies to the grammar Nazi. I mistakenly hit the spacebar (is that two words?).

I would never fly into KOSH during airventure, too many amatures out there, kind of like being at 3CK on a nice saturday afternoon.

Haha I did my PPL ride with Leslie on a Sunday... there was a pancake breakfast at 3CK. Luckily, after one spin in the patch she decided that I could do the other two landings back at PWK.

If I really needed to get into OSH, I'd wait for a 200 & 1/2 day and file.

I flew into KOSH during airventure a couple of years ago and would do it again. As long as you read the notam AND follow it, its no drama. I wouldn't do it alone, an extra set of eyes is priceless. Doing the underwing camping on the field was awesome and I can't wait to do it again.
