About 15,000 ex-employees of Pan Am are among the creditors who are scheduled to receive distributions. The company said it will begin mailing checks in December.

Does anyone know what kind of money we're talking here? Should I go ahead and supersize that meal or not?

Looks like some emplyees will be getting some checks, good.
If you'll excuse my ignorance, who is Boston-Maine airways? they fly 727s in PanAm colors? Do they have anything to do with the original PanAm?
I hope they continue flying it's nice to see that paint job still in the air.
Just curious.

Just got a letter in the mail from the Pan Am Liquidation Trust, stating that I might have some cash coming my way, not expecting much though!

pan am clipper connection has no association with the original panam. they just bought the licensing rights to the pan am brand. they fly emb 120s and 727s

The rights are owned by a transportation (railway co. in the northeast). They fired all ALPA pilots and shifted all flying to Boston & Maine Airways. They fly ex-UAL B727's along with J-31's. Can you say alter-ego airline? Union busting at its finest. Still, they are getting resumes daily......go figure. For those interested in applying, read the DOT Docket #7668 at dot.gov and review the history of this outfit. You have been warned, stay away. not a good place (do a search on this site).
