Delivered to United in 1964, in service until 1991 when it was donated to the Museum of Flight, and residing at Paine Field for 25 years. Now restored and prepared for a final flight to Boeing Field and the Museum.

Bought for about $4M, generated about $300M and carried about 3M pax.

Shame they can't it flying, take it to Oshkosh etc. But it takes money so into a museum it goes. At least they restored it.

Everyone I've flown with that flew the 72 seemed to love it. Can't ever remember anyone ever bad mouthing it.
