I read the terms and conditions, and I know its non-refundable, and I know there are penalties for change to the itinerary. But when the change for one part of your itinerary cost more than the total purchase price of the ticket, that is ridiculous. But "we will be glad to charge you the full amount for you ticket and give you a credit you can use for another flight anytime in the next year. But we will have to charge you for a new complete round trip ticket if you want to make any changes." Last time I talk to any travel agents. I will deal directly with the airline from now on.

I try to always talk to the airlines now. You might pay $5 more for a ticket. I don't think you'll like the change fee's from the airline either though as it would only be slightly less than that of Orbitz. I think Orbitz adds $30 to the airline's change fee.

I used to use Orbitz and never had a problem though.

I've used Travelocity twice and got screwed both times so I will never use them.

On top of that Airline ticket pricing is a mystery to me.

I can highly recommend Expedia.com, access to itineraries, live operators if you prefer, ticket insurance.
