Do we have any AVSig user's on the board's here?
I am thinking of subscribing to their site/message board, and I have heard their message boards and knowledge base is pretty extensive.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with their site/message boards?

I am currently under a free 7 day trial , and from the last two days, I have noticed that the number of posts is very small compared to here and AOPA's message board.

Any avsig members on here?

AVSIG was one of the reasons I joined CompuServe (the real CompuServe, not the prissy AOL offshoot it's evolved into). Then they decided to start charging for certain sections. I have refused to pay. There is nothing I've found on AVSIG that I haven't also been able to find elsewhere.

I can't wait till my compuserve agreement is over and can get away from the spam. aol, time warner etc. I may not wait - may pay both for a while.

Seem's as if my week free membership is now over.
I think I will pass on subscribing. I wasn't really impressed with the "user base" and the frequency of post's over there.

This board is great for users and the number of posts per day.
I have heard people like above 10,000 webpage also, but I visited it, and the number of users and posts are very small.

I guess there are only a few "elite" message boards and "families" out there in the internet / aviation world.
